"What is the best way to send your Referrals"?


Our business is probably 95% "Word of Mouth"...friends like you telling your friends, family and colleagues about us. As you know, we always put some sort of blurb within our emails, blogs, Facebook and tweets asking and reminding you about “referrals”....names of friends or neighbors who need to sell or purchase in the Triangle area. Our business is made up of the people that you send to us. We love when our friends, past clients and family say “I have a referral for you.” In our mind there is is not a better compliment than a referral.  With this being said we thought we would share a few ways that you can send folks our way.

Suggestion:.....Telling them about us or passing along our business card really doesn't work well for a real estate business introduction.....human nature being what it is, the public views most real estate brokers as "pushy salesman"....they are afraid to contact us and think we will bother them. You can rest assured friends, we only want to work with people who want our help.  

The best way,  if you don't mind, is to ask your friends if it’s "ok" for "you" to share their names and e-mail address with us.....we will then contact them and guide them through the process.  Here are some examples of the many things I can discuss with them:
  • Rental information
  • School information
  • Market/Area information
  • Current interest rates
  • Loan availability
  • Service provider recommendations
  • Entertainment/Dining ideas
  • How to get their home market ready
  • Current market value of their home
  • and many more....

So there is really no need to ask them a lot of questions unless you’re just curious because this is what we do.

Another way you can help is just to be on the look out. If you see a For Sale By Owner (FSBO) sign go up in you neighborhood or daily route, jot down the address and number for us and then give us a call. We can’t be everywhere so we need your help.

We appreciate your confidence and trust...we will take real good care of them. Your business and referrals are very much appreciated. We will contact your referral in a timely manner, and answer any questions that they may have. If you have a friend, family member or client that you’d like to refer please give us a call.
